3 FAR/AIMs? What's the difference?
Each is a fully accurate and complete reprint of the government document. The text and graphics within each are exactly the same including FAR Parts 1, 43, 61, 67, 71, 73, 91, 97, 103, 105, 119, 135, 136, 137, 141, 142, NTSB 830, TSA 1552 and the complete Aeronautical Information Manual and Pilot/Controller Glossary. Beginning in 2010 the Jeppesen version adds 14CFR Parts 11 and 13.
The differences are; The ASA book is physically smaller (6 x 9") and lighter in weight (2.5 pounds) making it easier to carry around. The Jeppesen book is 7"x 9" and 3.8 pounds; its larger size gives it an easier to read text, but its larger size makes is more cumbersome to handle and carry.
The eBook edition is presented in a single high quality .pdf file; is fully bookmarked, searchable, and printable; making it the most convenient way to quickly look up what you need. Of course eBooks arrive instantly and incur no shipping costs and for international customers, no import costs.
